Ten of Pentacles

The Tarot Suit of Pentacles

The "Tens" in the Tarot Deck represent transcendent completion - as opposed to the mere physical completion of the "Nines". That is, not only has the task been completed, but the performer (seeker) has also learnt the lessons and experienced the spiritual development brought to him/her by the task or situation.

In the case of the Ten of Pentacles, fulfillment may take the form of material wealth and security. The Robin Wood "Ten of Pentacles" card is titled "Prosperity" - and both refers to and depicts the riches of home and family as well an obviously sufficient quantity of financial wealth/security.

This card may indicate the value of expending efforts on projects that will also benefit future generations - or advice to ensure that people of a wide range of ages and interests are included in our work, social, and personal interactions.

Keywords summarising the possible meanings of this card include:

  • Domestic and Family Matters
  • Financial Stability at Home
  • Improvements in the home environment
  • Prosperity
  • Riches
  • Wealth and Security.
