11 - Justice

Justice is the 12th card of the Major Arcana (it is Card No.11 because the first card of the Major Arcana is card no.0). This card is primarily concerned with balance, and justice with ourselves as well as with others.

When "Justice" appears in a spread she ("Justice" is usually depicted as female) may be inviting the sitter to use reason to consider another point of view, or another person's point of view. She may also prompt the sitter to consider if he/she has all the relevant information about the situation under consideration - mistakes can be made when we think we understand something, yet in reality our view is based on incorrect assumptions.

This card also raises the question about possible imbalances and the possibilities of re-balancing them for a more stable future. Take care to observe the position of this card in the spread. Is it referring to the Past, Present, or Future ?

Some specific terms associated with "Justice" Tarot card include:
Fairness, Equality, Balance, Legality, Legal Matters, Negotiations, Discipline, Equilibrium, Justice.
