Staphysagria is
a homeopathic remedy. It is indicated by a wide range of symptoms (especially
emotions), not all of which necessarily occur at the same time. These
include
aversion
to tobacco smoke,
emotional
and physical sensitivity; feelings
of indignation, humiliation
and/or resentment - of a person or situation.
Examples of specific conditions that are believed to be helped by staphysagria
include, for example - injuries due to accidents,
bites
and stings, childbirth or circumcision;
colic; cuts or wounds after
surgery, cystitis, morning or travel sickness, shingles, shock.
In general, staphysagria is more likely to be indicated
when the symptoms (e.g. as mentioned above) are observed to be more extreme
after physical exertion and when the patient is hungary.
