Cantharis vesicatoria is
a well-known homeopathic remedy that is also known as
"Lytta vesicatoria", or occasionally "Spanish
fly"
(the iridescent green beetle from which it is derived).
Cantharis vesicatoria is associated with the urinary
tract and is sometimes used to treat certain urinary tract conditions,
such as cystitis - especially in cases where there is intense burning
pain when urinating.
Other conditions for which cantharis vesicatoria is
somtimes used include: Burns, burning pains, scalds, sunburns, burns
with blisters, burning sensation in
throat, and severe anxiety.
