The term resolvent
refers to therapeutic agents (e.g. natural substances
such as herbs or oils, or pharmaceutical drugs) that disperes swelling
or induces the bodys tissues to reabsorb a new growth.
The term resolvent is not listed in all
leading medical dictionaries but its meaning is implied by the word itself
- which is generally understood in medical/biological contexts.
