The term depurative
is
used to refer to therapeutic agents (e.g. natural substances such as
herbs
or
oils,
or
pharmaceutical
drugs) that detoxify the body by promoting the removal of impurities from
the blood and organs.
As "depurative" is not a commonly used medical term, it is
not included in all leading medical dictionaries.
