Black Pepper Essential Oil

Black Pepper is one of many (scented) essential oils used in aromatherapy.
Essential oils are generally used in very small quantities, e.g. measured as a small number of drops of the essential oil in a larger quantity of an appropriate carrier oil.

Steam distillation (from the black peppercorns, dried and crushed).

Main Constituents:

thujene, pinene, camphene, sabinene, carene, myrcene, limonene, phellandrene, sesquiterpenes.

From:

Native to south-west India and now cultivated in many tropical parts of the world incl. China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
