Choroiditis

Get a new perspective - with a Hot Air Balloon Flight. Fly from locations all over the UK.

The term Choroiditis refers to inflammation of the choroid layer of the eye.
(Recall that the suffix -itis usually indicates "inflammation" of the preceding anatomical part of the body, in this case the choroid.)

This condition may apply together with the inflammation of other parts of the eye, such as the iris and/or the ciliary body, for example. Alternatively, choroiditis can apply alone. It sometimes happens in patches (i.e. in limited areas of the choroid).

Symptoms of choroiditis may include blurred vision but it is not always painful.
