The Talus (also known as the astragalus)
is one of the tarsal bones in the foot.
It is colloquially referred to
as the "ankle bone".
The location of the Talus is
indicated in the diagram opposite - where all the tarsal bones are shaded
blue to identify the group of them as a group.
