Snowflake Obsidian is a naturally
occurring gemstone that is predominately black in colour white 'snowflake'
flecks.
The physical structure of snowflake obsidian is "amorphous". This means
that it does not have a repeating crystalline structure. The reason it
has no such structure is that this mineral was formed from cooling lava. Snowflake Obsidian sometimes associated
