Pronator Teres

The pronator teres is a deep muscle located at the elbow on both sides of the body.

Point(s) of Origin:

Above the medial epicondyle.

Point(s) of Insertion:

Midway along the lateral radius.

Action(s):

Pronates and flexes (bends) the forearm.

This may be particularly interesting study/revision material for students following courses in Massage, Reflexology and similar courses because these generally require a good basic knowledge of the muscular structures of the arms, legs, hands and feet.
