Polished Points are can be beautiful
and intriguing to look at and are sometimes used for crystal healing
and/or energy balancing.
Polished points are often (but not always) produced by polishing the
existing surfaces of natural
crystal points. Some people prefer natural points because they are
exactly as nature or "Mother Earth" created them and so intended them
to be. Others prefer polished points because the process of polishing
the edges can make it much easier for us to see any structures inside
the crystal - perhaps due to inclusions, or other crystals within the
crystal. Such features can be beautiful in their own right and extremely
interesting to geologists.
