| Peach Kernel Oil is one of many carrier oils
used in massage, aromatherapy,
and other body-work treatments.
It is among the most popular carrier
oils after Sweet Almond Oil and Grapeseed Oil, and is chemically
and physically similar to both Apricot Kernel Oil and Sweet Almond Oil.
In common with these other oils, but in lower quantities, Peach Kernel
Oil (from Prunus persica)
is extracted by cold pressing the kernels.
Peach Kernel Oil is almost odourless (an advantage for a carrier oil
to be used with essential oils), is emollient, nourishing, and slowly
absorbed into the skin, and is said to relieve itching skin, such as
