| The Adductor Longus is a muscle located in the inside
upper-thigh.
To test your knowledge look at the image opposite and decide which muscle
you think the adductor longus is, then click on the image to check if
you were correct, and for the labels of all the other muscles illustrated.
For a detailed illustration of its location see the page about Anterior
Muscles in the Revision for Therapists Section of the IvyRose website. Note that it should also be easy to work out the function of the Adductor
Longus because an "adductor" is any muscle that moves one part of the body
towards another, or towards the mid-line of the body.
The adductor longus,
located in each leg, moves the leg towards the mid-line of the body.
