This easy easy recipe cookery demo was chosen for its simplicity and wide appeal - chocolate truffles !
Chocolate Truffles are fantastic for an after dinner treat, or for parties and celebrations. If you don't have any special events coming up soon, just make them for yourself and enjoy ... they're also great just for boosting your "feel good" factor.
Is there a catch ? Well, maybe. They're not the most obvious weight-loss food but they look well worth 10 mins or so on stepper at the gym or half an hour of walking the dog. Anyway, back to the chocolate truffles recipe demo:
This recipe uses cream cheese as a key ingredient for the soft-centre of the truffles. The video demo uses "philadelphia cheese" specifically, which is not surprisingly because the cookery demo itself is made available by Kraft Foods, producers of Philadelphia Cheese. If you prefer a different brand we guess you could subsitute - and we're always interested in comments about these recipes and, of course, any adaptations of them !

This chocolate recipe demo is one of the clearest and easiest to follow chocolate or dessert recipes we've seen in quite a while. It's almost enough to send us off to a supermarket for cooking chocolate, cream cheese and decorative finishes. Gosh !
What do I mean ... "almost" !?! It looks so good we really must try it. Yum.
No special gadgets or kitchen equipment is necessary to follow this recipe.
The equipment used is a microwave oven (to melt the cooking chocolate), a whisk (an electric one is used in the demo), a sheet of wax paper, a baking sheet or similar flat surface that can be put into a fridge, a fridge and standard cutlery for dipping the truffles in chocolate and transferring them to cool.
Probably Vegetarian (but do check the labels on the cream cheese and decorative finishings), not Vegan.
