Tour Ancient Stone Age sites in the British Isles and beyond ...

On this exploration of the far reaches of Megalithic Britain we will be taking epic sea cruises far north of the mainland. Our first ferry will be from Aberdeen to Kirkwall on the Orkney Isles, which is the home of some of the most important ancient sites anywhere, including the Great Sacred Monuments of Stenne , Maes Howe, The Ring of Brogar, the Standing Stones of Stenness and many more.

We will also visit other Orkney attractions such as the Italian Church, which was created and beautifully painted by Italian prisoners of war. Other visits will include the erie masts of the shipwrecks in the Sound of Holm, an early Christian church, (reminiscent of the Kiels on the Isle of Man) and the Puffin cliffs at Brough Head and more as we traverse the island.

Cost: £595 per person (6 days).
