New Zealand situation
There is one new confirmed case of Influenza A (H1N1) swine flu in New Zealand.
The new confirmed case is a child who was a passenger on Flight NZ1, which
arrived in Auckland from North America on Sunday. As with all other cases, the
passenger is in isolation at home and is being treated with Tamiflu. Contact
tracing of passengers on the flight is underway.
This is the first new cases since 15 May.
The cumulative total of confirmed cases in New Zealand is now 10, and the cumulative
total of probable cases is now 10. There are 27 suspected cases, down three
from the last update on Friday, 29 May. There is no update available for the
number of people in isolation.

The latest update reported by the WHO is as of 06:00 GMT, Monday, 1 June 2009.
On Monday 62 countries had officially reported 17,410 cases of Influenza A (H1N1)
infection, including 115 deaths.
