About
Radionics:

|
|
|
|

|
|
|
Radionics is an advanced complementary therapy in which
the practitioner uses pendulum dowsing (Radiesthesia)
in combination with Radionic instruments to discover
and correct energy imbalances in the patient. These
imbalances can result from many possible causes, such
as emotional shock and other emotional difficulties,
exposure to toxic substances, viral infections, nutritional
deficiencies, allergies and so forth. In some cases
these impacts result in deep and long-lasting health
problems which defy orthodox medical solutions. In practice
the objective of Radionics is, broadly speaking, to
enhance the body by strengthening the patient's immune
system and self-healing capacity, to remove harmful
poisons and toxins, and to increase the patient's energy
and sense of well-being not only at the physical but
also at the emotional, mental and even spiritual levels.

In common with Homoeopathy, Radionics holds that each
person has a Vital Force or energy field, which, if
disturbed, results in symptoms in the Physical Body.
Thus Radionic treatment attempts to re-order or re-tune
the personal energy field; this is known as 'normalising'.
Although Radionics holds that the Vital Force both energises
and informs the physical body, no Radionic treatment
will directly affect any physical organ or cell in any
way and cannot therefore be considered as medicine in
the conventional sense. Orthodox science does not accept
the existence of the Vital Force and therefore implicitly
denies any connection between it and the physical body.
Therefore no causal connection between Radionic treatment
and any improvement or change in the symptoms of any
illness has been established by science.
|
|
In the Homoeopathic model, the Vital Force is largely
undifferentiated and in fact Hahnemann, the founder
of Homoeopathy, informs us that the practitioner does
not need to know anything about the structure or nature
of the Vital Force. Radionics however recognises and
utilises many concepts from Asian and Oriental thought,
such as Chakras (energy centres, from Yoga) and Meridians
(energy pathways, from Acupuncture). Thus a differentiated
model of the human subtle energy field is used for both
analysis and treatment. Some examples of this model
are given here:
The direct counterpart to the biological physical body
is the Physical-Etheric Body. At its densest level this
includes the counterparts of all structures and formations
in the physical system. The Physical and Physical-Etheric
bodies are totally interconnected and it is held that
changes in one body will reflect in the state of the
other. Physical illness results directly from a disturbance
to the Physical-Etheric body although at a remoter level
emotional and other causations may be the source of
the weakness which ultimately manifests as physical
symptomology. The Meridian pathways, used in Chinese
Medicine, may in fact be subsets of the Physical-Etheric
Body and it can be observed that treatment of the Physical-Etheric
Body as a whole will improve the readings for Meridians.

The Astral Body is the vehicle for personal emotional
expression. At superficial levels of the Astral Body
we may find links to a group Astral field. The group
could compromise of a family, a nation, a religion,
the followers of a sports team, and so on. At its deeper
levels we find the emotional self, which is more likely
to be the site for any emotional problems; this typically
includes many of the problems described by psychology
and psychiatry, i.e. individual psychology as opposed
to mass psychology. Problems at the superficial level
may however be transformed into problems at the deeper
level - rejection or disapproval by the family or peer
group may result in personal feelings of self-dislike,
guilt, lack of self-worth, lack of confidence and so
on . Once incorporated into the emotional outlook they
tend to be transferred into other situations in life
as a habitual emotional response even though the new
situations may bear no relation to the original circumstances.

The Mental Body is the vehicle for the mind function,
which includes intelligence, understanding, adaptive
reasoning and so forth. The Mental Body may also have
its own problems, which may manifest in many forms such
as obsessions with ideas and other mental delusional
states where the thought process is out of step with
reality. More common are symptoms of mental fatigue
resulting from stress and overwork and these are typically
seen as overstimulation or congestion of the mind.

Radionics generally considers that there are 7 major
Chakras (energy centres), each of which is considered
not only to be linked to a gland in the Endocrine system
but also to control a number of minor chakras and the
general physical region local to it; for example problems
with the Throat Chakra may be linked to difficulties
in the respiratory system. In addition there is a complex
system of energy exchange and circulation between different
chakras.
In the Radionic analysis the practitioner attempts
to determine the degree of deviation from functional
normality for the Location under consideration. The
deviation will result from the impact of some Factor.
Thus Locations may be the energetic counterparts of
the physical organs or the subtle bodies, as noted above.
Factors are the many types of problem which may cause
the deviation from normality. Some typical factors are:
toxins; poisons; nutritional deficiency; pathogens,
such as viruses, bacteria, etc; allergy; hypersensitivity;
(homoeopathic) miasms; inflammation; congestion; unco-ordination;
overstimulation; psychological deficits - and so on.
When a picture of Locations and Factors has been built
up and entered into a chart, the practitioner then attempts
to determine which problems are the most in need of
attention, and to find Corrections which will hopefully
offset the problem by normalising the subtle energy
field appropriately.

The practitioner may draw on many forms of Correction.
The possibilities cover a vast range but I myself use
mainly Homoeopathic remedies, Flower remedies, Gem Essences,
Colours, and my own Alpha-Numeric cards. However there
are many other possibilities. One of Abrams' (see History
of Radionics on this website) fundamental propositions
is that everything has a unique vibrational signature.
These signatures are represented in Radionics by various
systems of codes. A number of systems are in use. The
most common are Rates, which are simple numeric descriptors.
Malcolm Rae introduced the Magneto-Geometric system
which describes signatures in terms of their angular
relationship to the earth's magnetic field. A third
system is my own Alpha-Numeric, which uses letters,
numbers, colours and, in certain instances, shapes.
At the present time there are tens of thousands of codes
available, giving the practitioner access to very large
range of possible Corrective factors.

|
Thus the practitioner's skill lies in finding not only
the source of the patient's problems, but also the most
appropriate remedy. The practitioner may also dowse
for the suitability to the patient of non-Radionic therapies,
and most practitioners will also work alongside orthodox
medical procedures and other complementary medical practitioners
if required. Radionic techniques are also used successfully
in the treatment of animals, and in agriculture.

|
Locations of Treatments:
|
|
Many Radionic practitioners work remotely from their patients,
who may be located anywhere in the world. The patient supplies
a small sample of hair and describes their symptoms. From
this the practitioner is able to build up an analysis, which
in turn leads to treatment procedures. Treatment itself is
usually remote, or 'broadcast' as it is sometimes termed,
using appropriate Radionic instruments.
The patient should be in regular contact with the practitioner
to report on his or her progress.
|
|
Professional
Association:
|
|
Nick Franks qualified in Radionics with the Radionic Association.
Apart from giving treatments he designs and manufactures
Radionic instruments and associated treatment cards. The
Radionic Association was founded in 1943 and is the principal
UK professional body representing those who practice Radionics.
Important Note: Radionic treatment is NOT a substitute
for orthodox medical treatment.
Persons seeking treatment should always take the advice
of a licensed medical practitioner first.
The Radionic practitioner does not work without the consent
of the patient and Radionics should not be considered as
magic or some form of magical art.
