used to refer to therapeutic agents (e.g. natural substances
such as herbs, oils, or essences, or conventional pharmaceutical drugs)
that help to strengthen and revive the body's systems.
The term restorative is commonly understood in spoken
English but is not a strictly medical term and does not appear
in all medical/biological dictionaries.
