Megalocornea is reported by some sources
to be the same as the (similar) condition Keratoglobus.
Megalocornea is a very rare congenital disorder of the
eye/vision in which the whole of the corneas
thin and bulge forward.
Megalocornea involves corneal diameters of over 13mm
and corneal fragility that may result in the affected eyes appearing as
"spherical and slightly enlarged". Megalocornea
may occasionally lead to dislocation of the lens (called "lens subluxation").
