Interatrial septum

The interatrial septum is the part of the anatomy of the heart that seperates the left atrium from the right atrium.

It takes the form of a thin partition between the two atria.

(In the same way, the interventricular septum seperates the left ventrical from the right ventrical - within the structure of the heart.)
