Flexor Carpi Digitorum

The Flexor Carpi Digitorum is a deep muscle located under the plantar surface of each hand.
This muscle is on the syllabus of many basic-level health-care courses, such as ITEC Diplomas.

For an illustration of the general location of the flexor carpi digitorum muscle(s), see the page about Anterior Muscles.

An "flexor" is any muscle that causes the bending of a limb or another part of the body, such as a hand.
