Deodorant

The term deodorant is sometimes used to refer to agents (e.g. natural substances such as herbs, oils, or essences, or conventional pharmaceutical drugs) that mask or remove unpleasant odours.

More specifically, the term "deodorant" is usually used to refer to agents that mask or remove body odours. In many cases these work by destroying bacteria that live on the skin an break down sweat secreted by the body.

Many deodorant products include an antiseptic.
