Chorioretinopathy

The term chorioretinopathy refers to any disease, disorder, or medical condition of the eye that involves both the choroid layer and the retina.

One example of chorioretinopathy is Central Serous Chorioretinopathy.
This is a condition involving shallow retinal detachment due to leakage through one of the layers of the retina. Its cause is not yet fully understood but it affects some people (usually young men) causing impaired / distorted vision. Symptoms may settle after a few months.
