Causticum is
a well-known homeopathic remedy that is also known as
"Potassium hydrate".
Causticum is used in cases of various
conditions, sometimes as a homeopathic "First
Aid" remedy. Examples of conditions for which this might be appropriate
include burns, cystitis, stress-related incontinence, cramp in toes and
feet,
painful joints eased by warmth, poor concentration, tearfulness
about trivial issues, and other complaints.
This remedy is especially appropriate for people who are also feeling
sensitive to changes in the weather (especially
chilly and dry weather), who are very tired, who lack appetite (especially
while pregnancy), and those whose symptoms seem to be worse later in
the day , e.g. during the evenings compared with the mornings.
