Biceps Brachii

The Biceps Brachii are a pair of muscles located in each of the upper-arms of the human body.

Point(s) of Origin:

Coracoid process of scapula
Long Head: passes over top of joint laterally to the scapula

Point(s) of Insertion:

Via strong tendon to radial tuberosity and bicipital aponeurosis.

Action(s):

Strong flexor and supinator of foremarm, also weaker effects of abducting (long head) and adducting (short head) the shoulder.
