Apis mellifica is
a very well-known homeopathic that is also known as simply "Apis".
Apis mellifica is derived from
honey bees and is used to treat conditions that generally have some similarity
with the effects of the honey bee's sting.
Examples of conditions that may indicate the use of apis mellifica include:
Injuries caused by bites or stings that cause swelling, reddness, puffiness,
and the sense that the affected area resembles a watery "bag". In terms
of the patient's reaction apis mellifica is further
indicated if
the affected individual is also restless and irritable.
