Archangel Uriel
Archangel Uriel is one of the most well-known, and hence
most popular archangels (some sources credit the four archangels
Michael, Gabriel,
Uriel and Raphael
with leadership and special association with the earth). He
is often called on in cases of natural disasters such as floods,
avalanches or volcanic erruptions and may be referred to as
the "Archangel of Salvation".
The name "Uriel" means "The light and
fire of God" or, alternatively "The light
of the divine".

with Archangel Uriel
Archangel Uriel is said to be the archangel who works
most closely with the physical earth
and the healing of the planet. He is
therefore associated with major geophysical events such
as earthquakes, floods, and even forest fires.
Archangel Uriel is also believed to specialise in peace
and tranquility.
He may therefore be the archangel to call on if or when
you are overcome with anger, irritation or just restlessness.
On a grander scale, also ask for Archangel Uriel to
bless and assist with efforts for world peace
and an end to conflicts.
Archangel Uriel is also concerned with service,
devotion, and ease of giving
and receiving freely. Sometimes we
are told that in order to receive we must be willing
to give, and vice-versa. Archangel Uriel is believed
to offer assistance in opening-up to both giving and
receiving, as well as serving both those close to us
and the wider world community.
