Archangel Michael is sometimes described as the protector
of humanity and as having a supreme "commander-in-chief"
role over the other archangels and other angels.
We may require various forms of protection
or support, some physical, some mental or emotional.
One sure sign of the need for angelic protection and/or
support is the feeling of fear. In many cases one is
aware of the reason for a feeling of fear, which may
be fear of physical attack, fear of rejection, fear
of failure or any of a wide range of phobias.
The reason for anxiety does not matter, anyone can ask
Archangel Michael for protection and support in any
situation - "real" or "imagined".
Archangel Michael is also associated with truth,
honesty and integrity.
There may be times when we are afraid to tell the truth,
or are unsure how much of the truth to tell. Sometimes
it may seem better to say less in order to avoid hurting
another person's feelings, or removing another person's
opportunity to "own up" before he/she is "found
out". In certain situations it can seem more polite
and considerate to say that all is well, despite actually
felling unhappy or unfulfilled. When is it better for
all concerned, including oneself, to admit the truth
? Sometimes people need emotional support
to enable them to be honest with themselves.
